Meet Miles — Still Finding His Sound
Named for Miles Davis, the jazz icon who spent his whole career reinventing himself, our Miles is doing exactly that — and we're still figuring out who he's going to be.
He's got excellent conformation and carries his mother's markings, just in a lighter, softer apricot shade with a nice wavy coat. Personality-wise, he's a work in progress: a bit of a crybaby at three weeks, and now — right on cue — swinging the other direction and roughing up his littermates at four. Classic Miles Davis, really: never content to stay in one phase for long.
We're giving him a little more time to see where he settles. Whether he lands as the laid-back cool cat or keeps some of that scrappy edge, one thing's for sure: he's not boring.

Miles will need a steady, comforting hand. He is a sensitive soul looking for comfort and reasurrance.

Our Story
Selah Doodles began more than a decade ago when our first Australian Labradoodle, Tegan Park’s Monarch, came home from one of the original development kennels that helped shape this remarkable breed. That experience set the standard for what we believe an Australian Labradoodle should be: healthy, intuitive, biddable, and truly part of the family.
After stepping away from breeding for several years, we are relaunching Selah Doodles with Ophelia of Barksdale Labradoodles and future breeding dogs from established Tegan Park and Rutland Manor-based lines, focusing on a small number of carefully planned litters each year.
*The name Selah reminds us to pause on purpose—to rest, reflect, and enjoy the moment—so at Selah Doodles we like to say we create ‘intentional paws’ in busy lives, one gentle, joyful set of paws at a time.
