Meet Coltrane — The Old Soul
Named for John Coltrane, whose music always felt like it understood something the rest of us were still catching up to, our Coltrane has that same quiet, knowing presence.
He's a gorgeous red/apricot with markings similar to his mom, and very good conformation to match. But it's his temperament that really stands out: unassuming, easygoing, and genuinely friendly with everyone he meets. He's got that look — the one where you swear he actually understands what you're saying to him. Polite, thoughtful, and completely without drama.
Coltrane isn't the loudest voice in the litter, and he doesn't need to be. He's going to make somebody's life quietly, wonderfully better — the kind of dog you're lucky to end up with.

Our Story
Selah Doodles began more than a decade ago when our first Australian Labradoodle, Tegan Park’s Monarch, came home from one of the original development kennels that helped shape this remarkable breed. That experience set the standard for what we believe an Australian Labradoodle should be: healthy, intuitive, biddable, and truly part of the family.
After stepping away from breeding for several years, we are relaunching Selah Doodles with Ophelia of Barksdale Labradoodles and future breeding dogs from established Tegan Park and Rutland Manor-based lines, focusing on a small number of carefully planned litters each year.
*The name Selah reminds us to pause on purpose—to rest, reflect, and enjoy the moment—so at Selah Doodles we like to say we create ‘intentional paws’ in busy lives, one gentle, joyful set of paws at a time.
