Meet Nina — Still Unfolding
Named for Nina Simone, an artist whose depth took its time to fully reveal itself, our Nina seems to be following the same script — she's not one to give it all away right out of the gate.
She's more of an observer than an action-taker, but don't let that fool you — she's slowly coming out of her shell and exploring her world one curious glance at a time. Nina likes to watch first, sizing up a new toy, a new face, or a new corner of the yard before she decides it's worth her attention. But watching is never the whole story with her — once she's taken it all in, she does jump in, tail wagging, ready to join the fun on her own terms.
What we know so far: she's a light apricot with a tiny white splash under her collar, quiet and unassuming in the best way. Not shy, exactly — just reserved, taking everything in before she decides how much to show. There's clearly more to her than meets the eye at this stage, and honestly, that quiet confidence has its own kind of charm.

Our Story
Selah Doodles began more than a decade ago when our first Australian Labradoodle, Tegan Park’s Monarch, came home from one of the original development kennels that helped shape this remarkable breed. That experience set the standard for what we believe an Australian Labradoodle should be: healthy, intuitive, biddable, and truly part of the family.
After stepping away from breeding for several years, we are relaunching Selah Doodles with Ophelia of Barksdale Labradoodles and future breeding dogs from established Tegan Park and Rutland Manor-based lines, focusing on a small number of carefully planned litters each year.
*The name Selah reminds us to pause on purpose—to rest, reflect, and enjoy the moment—so at Selah Doodles we like to say we create ‘intentional paws’ in busy lives, one gentle, joyful set of paws at a time.
