Meet Fats — The Family Favorite
Named for Fats Waller, the piano legend who never met a room he couldn't win over, our Fats has that same larger-than-life charm — you can't help but love him.
He's built like a truck: stocky, thick, and solid, with a personality to match. And here's the kicker — he's a literal one-in-a-thousand little man with a natural stub tail, which somehow only adds to his whole swaggering, Popeye-armed strut. Silly, rowdy, and endlessly loving, Fats is a total goofball who lives for attention. Give him the smallest bit of eye contact and he'll follow you to the ends of the earth.
He's not on the breeder-watch list — he's on a different, equally important list: future family MVP. This is the puppy who greets you at the door every day for the next 15 years and never lets you feel alone in a room. Fats isn't headed for the show ring; he's headed straight for someone's heart.
Puppy Application
Fats will thrive with a big family that keeps him busy! Need a rough and tumble kinda pup? Fats is your man!
Our Story
Selah Doodles began more than a decade ago when our first Australian Labradoodle, Tegan Park’s Monarch, came home from one of the original development kennels that helped shape this remarkable breed. That experience set the standard for what we believe an Australian Labradoodle should be: healthy, intuitive, biddable, and truly part of the family.
After stepping away from breeding for several years, we are relaunching Selah Doodles with Ophelia of Barksdale Labradoodles and future breeding dogs from established Tegan Park and Rutland Manor-based lines, focusing on a small number of carefully planned litters each year.
*The name Selah reminds us to pause on purpose—to rest, reflect, and enjoy the moment—so at Selah Doodles we like to say we create ‘intentional paws’ in busy lives, one gentle, joyful set of paws at a time.
