Australian Labradoodles with Health, Heart & Heritage

“Tegan Park’s Monarch, the foundation furbaby who first showed us what a true Australian Labradoodle should be – athletic, intuitive, and deeply people‑focused.”

Meet Bix — aka  "Scrappy Doo"

Named for Bix Beiderbecke, the young cornet prodigy who proved size has nothing to do with talent, our Bix is living proof of that same scrappy spirit.

He wasn't the runt of the litter — nobody really was — but he had a rough go early on, never quite making it to the milk bar on time and getting the short end of the deal for it. Week three was all about turning that around: a little extra attention, a few bottle feedings, and some quiet one-on-one time with mom before the rest of the pack came barreling in. It paid off in spades — the day he finally got a shot at solid food, he dove in with an absolutely full-body commitment to the cause.

He's got a solid red/apricot coat, smooth rather than wavy, and he'll likely end up our smallest pup — a true mini. But don't let the size fool you: the personality is enormous. He's the class clown of the litter, goofy through and through, and he holds nothing back running and playing hard with pups twice his size. He also happens to love bath time, soaking it all up like the total people-person he is.

No more extra help needed around here — Bix earned his stripes and then some.

We absolutely adore this lttle guy. He comes when called, loves to snuggle and adores a warm bath! Looking forward to seeing him placed in a loving home!

Our Story

Selah Doodles began more than a decade ago when our first Australian Labradoodle, Tegan Park’s Monarch, came home from one of the original development kennels that helped shape this remarkable breed. That experience set the standard for what we believe an Australian Labradoodle should be: healthy, intuitive, biddable, and truly part of the family.

After stepping away from breeding for several years, we are relaunching Selah Doodles with Ophelia of Barksdale Labradoodles and future breeding dogs from established Tegan Park and Rutland Manor-based lines, focusing on a small number of carefully planned litters each year.

*The name Selah reminds us to pause on purpose—to rest, reflect, and enjoy the moment—so at Selah Doodles we like to say we create ‘intentional paws’ in busy lives, one gentle, joyful set of paws at a time.
